How do I write a thank you note for gift cards? ?
I just got married and received multiple Target gift cards. Everything I read says to put what I will using the card for. At this time, I am not sure what they will be used for.

Giving a credit card on family& 039 s birthday, or family Christmas is a cop out. It should be special to you, and your family...After the occasion, and when people ask you what you got from your sister, father,mother,or whoever in family. Would it be better to say " I got a gift card" , or wouldn& 039 t it be better to say " I got a nice shirt" or if you are a female to say " I got a nice handbag" . To me a credit card is a COP OUT.

I& 039 ve gotten tons of adorable dresses and that kind of thing but I& 039 m worried about how we will afford expensive things like the crib and car seat? Do you think it would be tacky to include a message on our registry that said something like " gift cards would be great too " or should I just leave it as is? I just thought it might be easier to afford the big things if we received some gift cards as gifts. What are your thoughts?Nappies and milk aren& 039 t a problem at all. What is difficult is a $300.00 Crib, a $250.00 Carseat, a $100.00 Mattress, a $280.00 breastpump and that is just the beginning all right before Christmas. After we& 039 ve got those basic things covered, we& 039 ll be just fine. We make plenty of money to support our baby girl. But coming up with so much at once around christmas time is really tricky.I actually wasn& 039 t even aware before I had friends that got pregnant that people registered for baby gifts. I considered whether to do it at all, but my family asked me to so that they would have a list of ideas of things that we needed.The reason that I have a registry is because my friends and family asked me what I would like and suggested it. Circuit City as has had worthless gift cards and you try to use them but they only turn you away. Or maybe your being scammed on minute you have 100 dollars on your gift card and you dont remember purchasing the item the next day you have about 40 dollars.
